Arsenal Face Bayern Munich in Crucial Champions League Clash

Gunners Aim for Semi-Final Berth

Arsenal will be looking to reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2009 when they travel to Bayern Munich for the second leg of their quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.

The Gunners drew 2-2 at home in the first leg a week ago and will need to score at least once in Munich to have any chance of progressing.

Bayern, who are the defending champions, will be confident of winning the tie at home, but Arsenal have a good record in Germany, having won their last two visits.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be without injured trio Gabriel Jesus, Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey, but he will be boosted by the return of Bukayo Saka, who missed the first leg through injury.

Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is also without a number of key players, including Manuel Neuer, Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane.
